Happy Birthday Philotic Web and Ender’s Ansible! + Giveaway!

birthdayHappy birthday to Philoticweb.net, our sister website, who has been serving the ‘Ender’s Game’ fandom for 13 years. On June 30th, 2000 ‘Ender’s Game’ author, Orson Scott Card, became the first person to register on their website. Since then, they’ve been personally mentioned in 4 of the books: ‘Shadow the Hegemon‘, ‘Shadow Puppets‘, ‘Ender in Exile‘ and ‘The Authorized Ender Companion‘. If you haven’t already registered there, I suggest sign up and get to chatting about ‘Ender’s Game’!

Ender’s Ansible was founded 2 years ago on June 30th, 2011. (The date is pure coincidental!)

Here’s a few highlights from this year:

July 2012 We interviewed co-author, Aaron Johnston!
Februrary 2013 We released 2 exclusive images from the ‘Ender’s Game’ movie: Petra with Ender and the Rat Army logo. We also started our Beyond Fiction column!
March 2013 We met up with readers at Jimmy Pinchak’s book signing.
April 2013 We attended a panel interview with Orson Scott Card and Aaron Johnston at the LA Times Festival of Books were we also met up with more of our readers! We were also acknowledged in ‘Ender’s World‘!
May 2013 We did a Google Hangout with producer Bob Orci, director Gavin Hood, Asa Butterfield and Harrison Ford.

We look forward to meeting more of you, our readers, at San Diego Comic-Con 2013 this July!
